George Underwood, Of Counsel to General Knox Law, has over thirty (30) years’ experience as an attorney and counselor of law. After graduating from Austin-East High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree (Secondary Education with teaching licensure) from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Thereafter, he earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville. George started his career as a high school teacher in Knox County, Tennessee, becoming tenured. Thereafter, he moved into the legal field and operated his own law practice (Underwood Law Office, P.C.) with state court and federal court practice emphasis areas in employment law, EEOC work and Civil Rights law. He also has extensive experience in Wills, Estates and probate matters. George is a member of the Knoxville Bar and the Tennessee Bar Associations.
